This 5 marla house is the same as the other one because they are both on the ground floor. But we wanted to show you what a 5 marla house would look like if it had a second floor.

There is only one major difference on the ground floor. The lounge now has a staircase that leads upstairs and the entrance to the kitchen. However, the rest of the design is still there.

The sitting area is 11 x 12. There are three bedrooms with a 30 square feet bathroom. Two bedrooms have 11 x 12 and 11 x 13 size rooms.

This house does not have a storage room. But you can convert one of the kitchens into a storage area if you no longer need it. This house is also good for families who want to build a large home on a 5 marla plot.

We have an average plot size for our 5 marla house plans. But the exact size might vary based on where you build your house and what building laws apply to your area.

Some Important Considerations When You’re Designing Your Own Home

Here are some things to think about during the design stage, so you don't have any problems later on:

  • Privacy Concerns

Most 5 marla plots are close together and have little space between them. If you want to open your windows, plan for the windows beforehand in your floor plan.

  • Safety Measures

Backyards and open terraces are good for outdoor fun. But they can be places where people try to break in. You need to make sure that the doors leading outside are very strong and secure, and you might also want to add a grill so that no one can climb over it.

  • Family Needs

The best floor plan for a 5 marla home is based on your family’s needs. That's why you should play around with the space to make sure it's perfect. For example, you might open up the kitchen to the living area, which would be a better use of space. You should also think about whether your family wants an open or closed kitchen.

We have given you some ideas for a 5 marla house design. If you are also building a 10 marla house, check out our floor plans for that size too. Our plans suggest what you might do to use space, but you can change the plans as much as you want if it is good for your needs.
