How to Reach Wagah Border?

The soldiers on each side of the border stand at attention as two large flags are lowered and folded together, followed by a handshake between them. The iron gates close afterward to signify that this ceremony is over.

Tourist Attractions Near Wagah Border

The beautiful garden beside the sitting area is called Quaid-e-Azam Park. It has a wall with pictures and names of all the brave people who got Nishan-e-Haider. The Nishan-e Haider is a military award given to 10 soldiers who showed extraordinary bravery and courage during wartime.

The Azadi Museum is one of the most popular attractions at Wagah Border. Former Director-General Umar Farooq Burki inaugurated it in 2017. This museum features pictures depicting the history of Pakistan Rangers and sacrifices made during the movement and offers visitors to learn more about our nation through its media library.
